“Okay, okay,” Etta soothed. “So, juggling is not your thing. No biggie, we’ll find what is.”

“Yeah,” Amos picked up four bowling pins and tossed them around and around effortlessly with a smug smile. “No biggie.”

“Good for you,” Laura mocked before throwing one of the balls at him. He dropped all the pins, and she laughed harder than she thought she would. She turned to Etta who was staring at her with something in her eyes. “What?”“Come on. I think I know just what your thing is.” Etta grabbed her hand and led her through Clown Alley.
